The Don Adamo project

An emerging silver-gold project with strong growth potential, made up of six targets across a 73,000 ha land package in the Deseado Massif.

Overview

Six targets, one district-scale property

Don Adamo is an emerging silver and gold project with high growth potential. It is made up of six targets at different stages of advancement: Lejano, Adamo, Cisne, Ciclón Oeste, Perseverante and Ciclón Este.

The 73,000 ha property belongs to Yacimientos Patagónicos and is operated by Deseado Resources under an exploration and option-to-purchase agreement. It was explored by Polimet/Yamana in 1998, by Coeur d’Alene Mines from 2002 to 2016, and by Yacimientos Patagónicos from 2017 to 2026.

In the heart of a major mining district

The project is reached directly from the town of Bajo Caracoles by Provincial Route 39, which connects to National Route 40, in the northwest of Santa Cruz Province. The area is backed by infrastructure on its doorstep, including a regional airport and high-tension power lines, and the land package is made up of several contiguous mining titles.

Don Adamo sits in the heart of the Deseado Massif, surrounded by some of the district’s largest deposits. With more than 73,000 ha under an exploration and option-to-purchase agreement, we see the potential to build a mining district in its own right.

The Deseado Massif

A world-class silver-gold province

The Deseado Massif is a gold-silver metallogenic province defined by low- and intermediate-sulphidation epithermal deposits, formed together with their host volcanic rocks of the Bahía Laura Group. These rocks record bimodal volcanism of Middle to Late Jurassic age: interlayered lavas, domes, epiclastic rocks, volcaniclastic breccias and dykes.

Mineralization occurs mainly as vein fill along fault systems that bound structural blocks, as disseminations in volcanic and dome-margin breccias, and as replacement of epiclastic layers.

Targets

Ciclón Este leads our first campaign

Of Don Adamo’s six targets, Ciclón Este is where we see the strongest potential for near-term discovery: a silver-rich vein and veinlet system across 2.5 × 5 km, with high-grade results at surface and in historical drilling. It is the sole focus of our first exploration campaign.

The other five targets remain at earlier stages of advancement, held for future campaigns:

Ciclón Este

Flagship target. A silver-rich vein and veinlet system with drilling by Minera Santa Cruz in 2022–2023. Includes the Cerro Armando veins.

View target

Lejano

The most advanced target, with a 2013 historical resource estimate. Best historical intercept: 2 m @ 1,325 g/t Ag and 3.4 g/t Au.

Adamo

Drilled by Coeur d’Alene Mines between 2009 and 2013, with geophysics by Yacimientos Patagónicos. Up to 2 m @ 1,120 g/t Ag.

Cisne

Silver intercepts at depth, including 6.47 m @ 412 g/t Ag with 1.25 m @ 1.75 g/t Au.

Ciclón Oeste

The first veins recognized on the property, by Polimet/Yamana in 1998, tested with 15 drill holes.

Perseverante

History

Nearly three decades of exploration

As of August 2026, the project has 25,822 m of drilling in 278 holes and 2,134 surface samples (channels, floats and chips) across its six targets. The historical database, including assay certificates, was provided by Yacimientos Patagónicos.

  1. 1998
    Polimet/Yamana

    Recognized the Ciclón veins (today Ciclón Oeste) and drilled 2,612 m in 15 holes. Best result: CIW-7, 2 m @ 134 g/t Ag and 2,360 g/t Pb.

  2. 2002
    Coeur d’Alene Mines

Acquired Mina Martha and all of Polimet/Yamana’s concessions in the Deseado Massif, including Lejano and Ciclón.

  3. 2003–2008
    Coeur d’Alene Mines

Mapping and sampling, airborne magnetics at Lejano and ASTER imagery. Work focused on Lejano, Cerro Armando (Ciclón Este) and Cisne. By the end of 2008 the project had 16,545 m of RC drilling.

  4. 2009–2013
    Coeur d’Alene Mines

Continued work at Lejano, Cisne and Adamo. In 2013, NCL Ingeniería y Construcción completed a resource estimate for Lejano.

  5. 2017
    Yacimientos Patagónicos

Took control of the property. Magnetics, induced polarization and resistivity surveys at Adamo, and discovery of the Ciclón Este veins, part of the same system as Cerro Armando. Surface values up to 2,000 g/t Ag and 2.5 g/t Au.

  6. 2022–2023
    Minera Santa Cruz (Hochschild Mining)

    Exploration agreement over Ciclón Este: 2,091 m in 13 HQ diamond holes. Best result: DCE-22-02, 2.9 m @ 620 g/t Ag.

  7. Jul 2026
    Deseado Resources

Exploration and option-to-purchase agreement signed with Yacimientos Patagónicos.
