About us

A privately held exploration company focused on silver and gold in the Deseado Massif of southern Argentina.

Who we are

Focused on one project, in one of the world’s great silver-gold districts

Deseado Resources is a privately funded mineral exploration company focused on the development of the Don Adamo project, located in the Deseado Massif, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, 40 km east of the town of Bajo Caracoles.

The company operates the 73,000 ha property under an exploration and option-to-purchase agreement with its owner, Yacimientos Patagónicos. Our work builds on nearly three decades of exploration by Polimet/Yamana, Coeur d’Alene Mines, Yacimientos Patagónicos and Minera Santa Cruz, whose drilling and surface data form the foundation of our targeting.

Our approach

How we explore

1

Start from the data

We have compiled and reviewed the full historical database, including drilling, surface sampling and assay certificates, and are re-logging core to a single modern standard.

2

Test a clear hypothesis

Our model interprets Ciclón Este as the distal edge of a larger epithermal system. Every program is designed to prove or disprove that idea quickly.

3

Drill with discipline

Exploration advances in stages: discovery drilling first, then step-out drilling to define continuity, so capital is committed as results justify it.

4

Operate responsibly

We integrate safety, environmental stewardship and respect for local communities into every stage of exploration, from planning to field operations.

Team

Our team

Our partners combine a track record of major mineral discoveries in the Andes and the Deseado Massif with extensive experience in capital markets, project development and value creation in Argentina and abroad.
